DEAR SIR,
MY FRIEND (HE IS FROM JAMSHEDPUR) HIS TENANT ,AS PER SOCIETY DECIDED THAT TENANT WILL PAY 800 RS FOR MAINTENANCE FOR FLAT & OWNER WILL PAY 700 MAINTENANCE FOR FLAT IS IT RULES IF YES THAN PLEASE EXPLAIN OR TELL WHERE DO I FIND ANS WITH SEC & LAWS

I dont think that such a provision can be invoked by statute.... however... check the local tenancy laws.... also see if its the ruling of the perticular society or not ... if so then all the members shall be bound by the rule ... if agreed to....
