Loss / settlement not yet done by the company

Hello Sir/Madam,

My father in law worked as a Machine Operator in the private company in 1993.

He meet an ancident in that company while attending the repair in the machine. Accidently the machine got run and his hand crashed in the machine. He lost his wrist in that accident. Hospital bills are available. He has been terminated by the company after this incident. My father in law raised this issue in the labour court. The court also ordered to appoint him immediately and pay the settlement.

The company side appealed this and take it over to high court. Now the case with high court for the long long years.Please find the attached documents for details.

He demands for his loss. Kindly clarify the possibilities to complete this case as much earlier.Whats the max remuneration he can claim as per the law? Almost he lost 22 years so far.Any possibilities to know the current status of this case with case ID ?

You can certaily check the status of the appeal at the highcourt with the details available with you. Or consult your lawyer to do so.

In WC case the loss is not only for the accident happened but also for all the consequences because of the accident and the liability of the employer towards the same.

Did you file case under Workmen Compensation?

Did you contest this case in HC?

Your lawyer shall tell you the outcome.

Hello Sir,

Presently the case with HC. It has been with the highcourt from 2007.We filed the case under workmen compensation. We wish to make it speedy disposal but how to do?

The cases that are given priority are mentioned in HC rules. You may go thru HC rules available on HV website. Your lawyer should be aware. Or ask your lawyer to file appeal.

Your lawyer will clarify everything. If you are not satisfied with your lawyer do the settlement and engage a capable Layer specializing in labor-service matters. Go thru rules of HC or let your lawyer show the rules to you.
