Legal hier certificate

My grandfather has two sons of which one is deceased. Grandmother is surviving. While applying for legal hier certificate, the tahsildar office provided a certificate which just has three names (my grandfather's name, grandmother's name and the surviving sons name). The deceased son's name is not present. Neither the names of children of the surviving son, nor the names of son's of the deceased son is present in the certificate. This just has three names. Is this an issue? Can possesing/obtaining this certificate be an issue?

yes, you must modify the legal heir certificate.
