legal heirs of my late father. There is land property to be divided. My sisters and mother should not  want to give their share to me. Is filing a partition suit in court a better option? and also cost of stamp duety in pune, maharashtra

You need to file a suit for partition against your mother and sisters.

Court fee is based on the value of the property

The legal heirs of a father are the first class legal heirs. wife, son, daughters and so on.

As per you query only your mother, you, your sisters.  So you can issue notice to call upon to get partition in the family property.  If they are not complied with file a partition suit. Regarding the  CF and other incidental details consult your lawyer

The opinion of Mr. Ganeshan is correct.

Your question is silent as to when your father died.  If taken into consideration such death in recetnt period and considering as Hindus, Mr.Ganeshan has elabarated rightly.
