Legal custod of son

Hi Experts, My wife filed divorce us 13 1 ia. Having 8 months old son. Pls help me in understanding what is meant by legal custody of child? can i claim it? if yes under which section? Thank you

The court will not grant you the custody of a 8 m old kid. However, you can get visitation rights.

@Adv Archana Thank you madam for your quick reply. I may get visitation rights on 2-4 hrs every 2 weeks. I will definitely comply that. i just want to know that can i get overnight visitation when my son become 3-4 yers old? Thank u
