I was working with consultancy firm as consultant and not been entered in any agreement which clarify the notice and other conditions. Later, i have left the job without intimation as i was in impression that i am not bound to serve the notice. Further, he has not contacted me for any notice recovery.
Please suggest the better option to be followed.

If you have supplied the resignation by post, supply another copy and close the matter.
Employee should prefer to tender some reasonable notice and proper handover.
