I was sending whatsapp messages to my ex company employee(male) who is related in the manner that my retirement dues are not paid till now.I did not use any vulgar,indecent language.

Can I be afraid of any action??

is sending whatsapp from an unknown no punishable offence??

You have to be worried if you use any vulgar language or threatening somebody or extortion, revealing company secrets etc.  Otherwise nothing to worry.

For official communications it is always better to avoid such social networking systems. No doubt there is nothing wrong in it but it will be unpleasant and embarrassing to the receiver.
