Is there is a choice to our children any one of the cast adapt

I AM SC(MALA) BOY MARRIED A MINORTIY( BC_E) WOMEN UNDER SPECIAL MARRIAGE ACT,1954 IN KADAPA DISTRICT ANDHARA PRADESH .IN RATION CARD CAN I MENSION MY WIFE SUR NAME?IS THERE IS A CHOICE OUR CHILDREN WILL ADAPT ANY ONE OF THE CAST

Your children will get the benefit of your caste and not your wives caste as India is a patriarchal society.
The second name or 'Sur name' of your children can have both your and your wives second name. Its your choice.

one lawyer said there is no chance to adapt my wife sur name to my children is it true .there is a choice or not in futher if  we  want any one of the cast to our children can adapt
