YOU HAVE TO FILE APPLICATION IN CERTIFIED COPY SECTION IN THE COURT.....

you obtain copy application form from the counter in the courts and fill it up properly and submit the same in the copy section office in the concerned court.

Several citizens filed Application under RTI Act  for certified copies and they have been provided by Lokadalat (They have to follow State Rules and Regulations/but some insist HC Rules and regulations where the fees are more)

Hi Thanks to all..Please provide me the Draft or sample format to apply Application under RTI Act for certified copies..

G.L.N. Prasad (Retired employee.)     04 May 2014

Individual states and authorities(Courts) have their own rules and regulations per format and fee,and as you have not informed your place, it is not possible to prescribed format/fees.  But general information basic format for any RTI Application with slight modifications is as follows:

Application dt...........seeking information under RTI Act filed

Before PIO, ...........................Court........................................with

RTI Fee: Rs.10/- (or as applicable) in Court fee stamps affixed top right portion)

Brief facts:  Case No.....................at..........................................EYZ  Vs. ABC

Information solicited:

Please provide the copies of the following:

1

2

3

Place

Date....................................................Applicant.

Please send the same by local speed post/Regd post, paste the receipt on office copy of your RTI Application.

(If Lokadalat wants the court way, a prescribed application for CC at Rs.1/- is available out side Courts or with Pleader's clerks.  There is prescribed schedule for demand and payment of copying fees and you have to get in touch with Loakadalat employees to know the exact procedure being adopted.

Hi,Thanks....am from andhra pradesh

Then Balaji garu, the format works.

Unfortunately, the system of RTI implementing is very bad in LSA, as junior most clerk without knowing fundamentals of atleast one relevant Sec.7 is being designated as PIO.  There is one advantage also, they fear RTI Act and respond.

The format works. Court fee stamps available with every advocate clerk and before Courts.  Do not worry if information is provided that you have to apply in prescribed format.  In LSA there may not be many applications, and most probably a visit may work, as they provide you all copies as work load is nominal.

Hi Thanks for quick advise..Can I use same format in District court also?   Is Court fee stamps or details will get any court or we have to take particular court (where case pending) ?  What is meaning or LSA? Please advise...Thanks for ur time...

1.The same format can be used in entire AP State for seeking information/inspection/certified copies but if certified copies are required, one has to file specified application through his advocate only and it may take one or two weeks for receiving certified copies, keeping in mind the age of the record.

2.Court fee stamps are uniform in AP and is available with Bar Association stores or with any advocate clerk.  They are self adhesive and can be used as RTI fee for seeking information from State Authorities under RTI Act.

3.Legal services authority and Lokadalat generally function from the same premises.

Hi Sir, Thank you very much for quick answers and time...

1) am staying in 'X' place and case is in 'Y' place ,Is it possible to apply certified copies through 'X' place lawyer?

2) Cannot I apply for certified copies myself  in court or from our place?

3) Is court fees charges will be same in all districts or different?

Thanks for ur time.

G.L.N. Prasad (Retired employee.)     05 May 2014

Lawyers must be having friends in each place and courts, and whether your advocate is having link at Y place is not known to me.  This is a simple matter and  once you visit Y place, you may get several lawyers in Court premises who are specialised in bringing copies expeditiously.

2.If you are an  affected party, you may apply yourself for copies or you may have to file application as petition before concerned court, (Routine matter) and that concerned court will order for providing certified copies.

3.Costs of Copying charges in every court is one and the same and is at present Rs.2/- per copy

Properly advised by Mr. Prasad on the subject, nothing more to add.
