Interference

Can we legally get the person meddling and taking the case in wrong direction to back off?

The background is, there is this brother in law, who has basically no knowledge of events transpired which led to the current status, is trying for his sister in law to "get a better deal" and has basically hijacked the case by taking it in an entirely wrong direction as now the respondent is not keen on settling it out of court as the demands have been exorbitant.

This person is pushing/threatening the respondent and also not allowing the petitioner (who seems to have just sort of "outsourced" this task) to settle at a reasonable level. His interference is so much that it is now not possible to settle amicably.

Any possibilities/strategies?

Thanks..
