Installation of cctv aimed towards a ground floor room

Hello.

I am having legal proceeding on a property related matter (dispute on house border) with my neighbour. This morning I suddenly found CCTV cameras installed at my neighbour's house which are aimed at the disputed land property. In the process they are also automatically aiming towards my ground floor room where my father stays. As there is a big window in our room at that portion, the activities within our room will be clearly visible through the camera (the nearest camera is just around 12 feet away).
Can someone install cameras in such a manner at all? What do I need to do? Please advice.

Thanks in advance.

recording someone inside of their home would be an invasion of privac. The privacy laws in several states prohibit unauthorized installation of cameras in areas that are considered to be private. Give a police complaint to remove for invasion of privacy.
