We received a notice for attachment in saving bank joint account from Income Tax Department .The default amount of income tax is 3.5 crore which relates only to his wife as also mention in attachment notice. The first name in account is Husband and secondary is his wife and mode of operation is former or survivor.
kindly advise if we can allow the first person to allow the transaction as mode of operation is former or survivor i.e Husband. or transaction should not be allowed.
