I hv a ancestral residential plot at village abadi. A person forged a sale deed on 100rs stamp paper and constructed two rooms.. Now, I got a stay from sdm before lockdown . WHats the remedy. I think sale deed is invalid on just a stamp paper, forged or not. Also he has written paying 2.59 lac in cash

To constitute a valid transfer, any deed pertaining to property of value more than Rs. 100 has to be duly registered.
Since 2015, and transaction of real estate with more than Rs. 20000 in cash for transfer s illegal.
Check name in record of rights and also apply in this office to prevent application for mutation.
