Better to find some other job, pay what the wife wants.  Indian woman if she is marrying "LEGALLY" she is doing it only for purpose of taking alimony through court.  Write this down somewhere and read it once a day before bed and morning when you get up.

You will have to purchase divorce if you dont want to simply keep going to court for next 10-15 years by taking mutual divorce by paying one time alimony.
