Gpa(general power of attorney)

Hi,

I have recently booked flat in Bangalore, Currently I am in Hyd and shortly travelling to abroad for long term.

I need to take loan from SBI, but processing takes close to 45 days, thefore I need to know can I give GPA to my Father in Law, who will complete the bank formalities on behalf of me?

What all documents is required for this?

How much it cost?

From where I can get it done in Hyd?

Please let me know the answers of above queries.

Thanks & Regards,

Prateek

You can give GPA. Get it registered in Registrar Office. Any local lawyer and even document writer will help in geting it done. Stamp duty is differrent in states. It will not cost much say less than 2,000 apart from Lawyers charges. You can get basic ingredients/ language of will from internet search also.

you may execute GPA on stamp worth Rs.100/- (for all purposes except sale/sale agreement) to your father in law at Hyd and get it be registered in registrar office. that power be validated at registrar office, Banglore if necessary.
