I have applied to demolish old building which has tenant, showcause notice issued by municipality for 15 days to tennant, 15 days finish and municipality is not take any action now and still telling me to wait for 1 month. chief officer telling me that it will take time and dont know how much time...there is also illegal construction on the property. please suggest what should i do now and can i go to court to take action aganist municipality. please help

Landlords can end a fixed-term lease before the end date by mutual agreement with the tenant. Agreements should be in writing. Otherwise, a landlord must give the tenant written notice.

thank you sir for your response. The tennant is not willing to vacant the property after requesting them for 2 years with mutual consent. One tennant has all ready vacated the property with mutual agreement but one is not willing to do so.
