I bought a flat in Kolkata back in 2007. It was to be constructed by a real estate developer which is nationally known. They showed me the plans and the renders of the towers they were going to build. Those were nice looking buildings with glass facade. The buildings are still under construction and what I have realized is that they have changed the front elevation. The nice glass facades are being replaced by ordinary brick walls with small windows. When I asked them, they said that the plan and front elevation shown in the brochure were tentative only and therefore subject to change! My question is - can they do it? That way anybody can put picture of Taj Mahal in their brochure and deliver a hump. Please advice whether there is anything I can do. Thanks.
