Landlord asks to vacate house

Sir, I am residing in a flat for more than 6 months. I did not write a rental agreement with my landlord. Now my land Lord is asking me to vacate the house within a month due to some personal reason. I asked him 2 months time to vacate due to my family member's health condition. Also in Tamilnadu we won't vacate house in Tamil month Panguni. For that reason I asked him 2 months. In this case how can I handle the situation for getting 1 more month to vacate the house. Please help me on this. Note: I am paying my rent regularly. Thanks
