Property inherited fro deceased wife

sir my wife died without will and i and only progeny are joint owners of a flat purchased by her from her own earnings by legal heir cert issued by state govt dept NOW MY QUERY IS IS THE PROPERTY INHERITED IS FALLING UNDER CATEGORY OF ANCESTRAL. REGARDS BHARATH.G
