Can my father gift or sell the ancestral property to anyone? I am only major son of my father and due to family issues, I am staying alone . Now, he is trying to sell the aforesaid property by using gift deed. How can I stop that? Please guide me.

File a partition suit for share of property.

Follow Visha Sir's advice. If there is immidiate aprehension of any type of transfer, seek injunction from court.

you can filed stay application in court.so that your father could not sell this property along with you can filed partition suit.
