If a doctor has submitted false data as his academic experience in an affidavit submitted to the governing body like medical and dental council of India what kind of legal action can be taken against him.How to proceed with filing a case against him.what are the necessasary documents to be provided as proof.
For eg; the doctor has worked abroad and shown working experience as he worked in an institution in India .He has given an affidavit for the same.
I have attached a affidavit format also.

Because affidavits are statements of truth, sworn to in writing, a person who knowingly completes an affidavit containing false information can be found in contempt. The penalties can be anything from fines to jail time. Depending upon what damages their false statement produces, they can also be taken to civil court and sued for the losses they caused another to incur.
