Hi Experts,
My brother's wife filed false dowry case against us. Her father claimed that he had taken a loan of 10lac rupee for her marriage from his relative. Relative claimed with an affidavit that he sold his land and given 10lac to his uncle. But when we investigate this land still exists in the name of the person who claimed to have given that he sold his agriculature land. We have proofs that the affidavit was false. Pls let me know what all cases we can file against this person.

Punishment for filing false Affidavit: Section 191, 193 and 199 of the Indian of the Indian Penal Code.

Assumi is rght so is Rao, but Section 340 Cr.P.C. may also be seen once before proceeding further.
