Equal property share to women who got married in 1983

The "Women" living in Tamil Nadu got married in 1983.

Her father deceased in the year 1991.

Her mother is alive.

She has 1 sister and 4 brothers.

As per the recent "Equal property to women" laws made by the central government, is she eligible for the equal share in the ancestral property, inspite of deceased father's will which doesnt quote about the property share for his daughters?

Recently the "Women"s sister received an amount, and gave a release deed.
The released deed did not have the "Women"s name anywhere in the document.
