Doubt on petition's effect

Respected Sirs,

My mother made petition to anti land grabbing team(DSP) in my disrict in order to recover the land from the land grabber. On knowing this the land grabber blackmailed us that he will send summon through court and he also threatened us that he will uproot our family.

My query is that ,"the petition that my mother made now only came to force and before the anti landgrabbing team's report, whether the land grabber can file a suit against us".

Regards,

N.Vignesh kumar

civil remedy can be resorted to by any of the party to the dispute.

Any one can file civil suit at any time.

The issue is whether he can prove his right and title.

You said it is your property. Then why do you worry.

Even if he files civil suit, you can prove your right and you can win the case.

If the title of your mother is in order with the related documents in her possession she has nothing to worry.  Check up the physical availability of the (1) Registered Document (2) Original Patta (3) Citta Adangal as last provided by the Village Officer concerned (3) Tax paid receipts if any (4) Encumberance Certificate if any.
