Do i need the heirship certificate??

Husband has two wifes, the first wife sold her property to the husband and the husband
later gave it to both wifes.

All were dead, second wife has only one son, he takes the possession and sells the property.

Question:

Do I need the heirship certifiate of the husband and two of his wifes? As they were
no longer available what other alternatives to avoid future litigations.
