 Complainant:

There is lack of integrity in the statements of Chief Vigilance Officer (both Mrs. Gopa Re and Mr. P. Nayak) of the Public Sector Undertaking General Insurance Company of India,namely the New India Assurance Co. Ltd.

The beurocracy that runs the public sector Undertaking have complete lack of desire to run the office of Chief Vigilance Officer in the transparrent or accountable manner. Whatever the reply communication of Chief Vigilance Officer was never communicated to the complainant,it was obtained under the RTI act from the Central Vigilance Commission and/or the Govt of India.

I have consistently exposed corruption,embezzlement of public money and other grave irregualrities since last 7 years however no vigilance officer of the said insurance company has ever desired any details from me.

The legacy of empty formality of the office of CVO continues.

The phenomenon of corruption is often described as a "cancer", "virus", or an "evil" that is haunting contemporary private and public organizations.

Despite the massive impact that corrupt practices and the various measures taken to mitigate or eradicate it have on governments, organizations and their management, only scarce efforts like completion of an empty formality have actually been experienced.

Being an honest citizen of India  I have been taunted, threatened, fired from my job on the  frivolous and imaginary "grave" charge of leaving headquarters .

On the other hand A well known bribe taker (26019) actually seen with A. R. Sekar,The New India Assurance Company Limited (a public sector insurance company of India) ex-officio chairman as on 20.7.2012.

Central Vigilance Commissioner, Pradeep Kumar has called for all out efforts to ensure highest level of integrity. ... Corruption is very big problem for India that also affects investment in the country , said Kumar.

...CVC said that we should work for sustained improvement in the system to harness technology so that human intervention is reduced. Corporate organization should be transparent and should present correct financial accounts to its stake holders, he said.
