Copy of evidence

hi Experts

During the court hearing evidence stage, Lawyer has submitted evidence to the court.

Is the lawyer suppose to provide a copy (xerox) of evidence to the opposite lawyer also?

Please throw some light on this topic.

Thanks

Mahesh

yes, it is mandatory.

without supply of evidence copy the opposite party can not go for cross examination of the witness
