Girl children right on dad`s gift property

Hi Sir,

My Father got a property by a gift deed and which is a mortgage with a Loan and all family members has been signed and got Loan. After this can we consider all family members have rights on the property?

No, but as an legal heir- yes but with liabilites too.

No, Since father is absolute owner of property so during the lifetime of  father no any legal heir can claim  right and interest in property.Merely signing on loan papers does does create any rights in property.

Since the father received that property through gift deed, it becomes his self acquired property. He is the absolute owner of that property. None of the family members has any right in that property during father's lifetime.

After the ,death,of your father,all members of the family,will have a right,over the property and all the members of the family,will have a liability,over the loan also.In the,life time of your father,it is his personal property,he can gift this property,to whom ever he wishes.

You are only witness for loan ,this don't create any right over your father's property which came through gift .
