do you really think its going to come?......are people of india mad...how is it that men have not gone to the streest on this... is one really blind to what's happening with 498......wheres siff on all ....how can newspapers like hindu support this...hindu has been destroyed....but where are the men?where are the protests...why are judges silent

He is most probably talking about a legal loophole; S. 375 of the Ordinance states that a husband is not considered to have committed marital rape if the wife is above the age of 16. Ironically, if the law recognises marital rape in cases where the wife is under 16, it means it is allowing child marriage in contravention to the 'Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006'. OR he may be highlighting the 10 Women organisations under the banner of Pension Parishad who are against making rape laws 'gender neutral'.

But in current amendment, marital rape is not considered, but still women organisations are hell bent to have. probably they need new deterrent in place of 498a for next 20 years as 498a is loosing its ground and became ineffective like in mid 90's

yeah i was actually venting fruatration at the women propounding marital rape..... recently after LOL justice verma recommendations.....what hypocrites...

Dont worry, this whole ammendment has hit a roadblock in the parliament. No wonder It wil face fate of 'women reservation bill'
