Compensation after death of an employee

Hello Sir,

My brother Sacheen kumar gupta age 28 years was working with bhushan steel ltd odisha. he was working as a permanent employee. During working hour he got an accident and after 16 days in hospital, he could not survive.

Company is only paying insuarnce amount by insuarance company. my father was dependent on my younger brother. Company is not paying any amount other than insurance.

How can i demand compensation. Kindly help me

Serve a legal notice to the Employer !! and subsequently file a writ petition in High Court.

if it has been delayed, you will be deprived of the benifits.

Thanks for your reply sir. I need to file writ petition to only high court or any lower court. High court will accept our writ petition?

Hi sir,

My cousin brother age 23 was a state govt employee in Raj Bhawan.Due to an accident he passed away.After 30 days the department has fill up his post to someone else without informing his family and with out waiting for his death certficate to be recived by department.There are few pepople in the department who have taken money and have given job to someone else.

Kindly help us and tell us what shall we do.!!
