hi all,
in dvc case, after getting maintenance order, now i have to file chief affidavit for section 12 case.
my doubt is whether signature from other lawyer(in addition to my lawyer and me) is necessary?
second doubt is the chief affidavit is same as original dvc petition, is it correct?

Chief affidavit has to be sworn and signed by the deponent and it will be attested by oath commissioner and identified by the advocate of the deponent. The contents of chief may be almost all similar to the contents of petition, but in chief the first person "I" is used, where as in the petition the thrid person "the petitioner" is used. |

Could you please articulate as to what the purpose of the chief affidavit is? In what way it is similar to petition and in what way it is different from Petition? Any sample chief affidavit would be helpful.
