cheque bounce case

Hi. i have 2 cases in tamil nadu for cheque bounce.the opposing party had filed a case against me and warrant has been issued.we had done business and i also have claims against the opposing party.therefore i would like to proceed with the cases.however,i need to cancel the arrest warrants first.how can i do it?any lawyer willing to represent me?

Dear querist,

 

 

 

You can file petition under section 70(2) Crpc for cancellation of warrant as the offence is bailable you will get bail. Take sureties with you court may put some small fine. You may engage some junior advocate.

 

 

Section 70(2) in The Code Of Criminal Procedure, 1973

(2) Every such warrant shall remain in force until it is cancelled by the Court which issued it, or until it is executed.
