Cheque bounce

I have two cheques given by a person to present in bank for cheque bounce case. I have received 80% of the amount of first cheque and received nothing for second cheque. What do I need to keep in mind while presenting the cheques? Cheques are already filled and signed. Will section 138 be attracted if partial amount of a cheque is received?

It can be entertained towards part amount also if that amount alone is claimed through the cheque bounce case

You should add that in your pleadings.

do I need to write anything at the back of the cheque before presenting at the bank? According to supreme court, we need to mention the recoverable amount at the back of the cheque if partial amount is received. Is this true?

Yes, you have to follow the guidelines as prescribed in the judgement of supreme court that you have referred here
