I filed a petition u/s 9 HMA for restitution of conjugal rights against my wife . She replied with an application u/s 24 HMA for an interim maintenance and she was granted a maintenance of Rs. 6000 p.m by the Trial Court.
In the meantime, I lost my job and I was unemployed for about 6 months. I got a new job at a lower pay scale. My lawyer advised me to approach HC for changing the amount of interim maintenance.
Please note the interim maintenance order under the ambit of the HMA.
Can someone give me HC/SC judgements (citations) on alteration in the amount of interim maintenance given the change in employment circumstances of the husband?
