Chandigarh university harrashing students

Dear Sir/Madam,
In the midst of these tough Covid times when the pandemic is affecting every single family,
we college students are giving exams, making assignments, attending online classes, and much more. And we know the importance of our education that's why we know some things are necessary,
But Here in CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY the management has totally lost its integrity and is just harassing us to pay the fees For The next semester first and saying only then we can give our final exams For the Current Semester. We are attending our class from online mode not using any Resources of the university on the opposite we are paying our home electricity, Network bill and University also demanding a full fee. Many students losing their family University do not understand the condition of Student family.
We want,
We Want Concession in our Fee.
We want an extension in fee time

if it's a private university, it is advisable to pay the fee else one year would go wasted. later the students jointly may file a suit for recovery of excess fee. if it's a government run institution, students may file a writ petition in this regard in Chandigarh high court.

First send a representation to the concerned authority and copy to UGC and find legal remedy as advised by the learned friend Mr.Rajiv

You may seek intervention of the UGC. Also, a Writ Petition could be filed, even though a private university as the activity inherent is a public function.

You students ca send a representation jointly to the registrar of the university explaining the hardships you people are made to face due to current covid situation and narrate all your difficulties including your parents financial constraints.

Request the university either to waive the semester fee or to reduce the fee considerably to enable you to pay the lower fees.

You may even write to the vice chancellor of the university to attract his attention and enable him to consider your grievances sympathetically on humanitarian grounds in the given nation wide pandemic situation.
