can contempt petition leads to review cum contempt petition

Sir, I am scientist in ministry of science and technology. We filed a case in CAT which got disposed with direction on 25th May 2015. It gave direction to absorb us in CSIR system. However, we have filed contempt petition on 16th Sept 2015, 2 weeks after completion of 3 months (time to application of judgement) and you tell whether there exist a possibility that contempt petition becoming contempt cum review petition. Please provide sufficient example case studies for same.
