Buying bda propery in bangalore

HI , I am planning to buy a BDA property in north Bangalore. This propery is part of Arkavathy layout. The landlord was allotted the piece of land under the 60:40 scheme and registred in her name in april 2015. The person i am buying the propety had purchsed the propery from the initial allotee last week (mid june) and informed me that he faced issues during registration as the allotee demanded more money citiing dispute in family(muslim)., and promissed that now that the propety is registered in his name, all is good.

Apart from verifying the legality of the papers, How do i ensure that initial allotee and the existing owner family disputes don't create trouble form me in future. Will getting a family tree or notary be sufficient.

thanks in advance

regards,

karthik
