Buy sc land

If it is governed grant land then you have to obtain permission from government to purchase ,if he has bought from others other then sc ,St  no permission is necessary ,you can buy , contact advocate with relevant documents.

Thank you detailed information . but he has brought the land 1-2 yrs back from SC category only. So looks like we can not buy or lease the land??

You can take it for  lease it but cannot purchase ,in lease no ownership passes permanently, contact advocate.

 ( 1 ) Lad belongs to S.C/S.T can be sold to General Class category subject to prior permissin of Distrct Collector.

 ( 2 ) Land can be taken on lease,No restrictions.

Actully we are four people , we are buying one land which is belongs to SC (financially sound person), one of us belongs to SC category , we can buy land on his name but to avoid future conflict we want to have equal ownership on the land. We have consult with some lawyer but did not get any satisfactory answer. this is agricluture land and we want to use it for agricluture purpose only. Is there anyway we can buy this land or better to avoid this ??
