Customs dept asks us to produce evidence Balance sheet showing " pre deposit amount for appeal refundable from Customs Dept on final disposal under sec 129". However our audited accounts missed out this. What AS states and how to address this NO SHOW in Asset side of balance sheet. Kindly guide.

Show them ledger accounts maintained by you in previous year and inform the customs department accordingly. Get is certified from auditor

You first of all produce the show cause notice either to your auditor or the lawyer and get their opinion on all such further issues and proceed as advised.
