A woman files an FIR alleging her rape by a man after it has happened (say, 10 days/ one month/many months), may be against her wish or because she gave consent as the man promised to marry her), can police arrest the man immediately without FIRST investigating if the woman is telling the truth..?? I remember having read SC decision in such a case that police needs to first investigate before arresting the accused- can someone give details of this SC case..?? How can you subject the woman to medical test after so many days and connect the accuse with the rape..?? woman may have had s*x with any one else but accuse the person to take revenge..??/
