Validity of an no interest in property agreement ?

If the karta of an HUF had entered into an written agreement on writing with his sisters that in future they wont have a share in the HUF's property somewhere in 1970's will that agreement be valid in the court of law ?

If your sisters have agreed in the said Written Agreement in 1970s not to claim their share in the written agreement/Family Settlement THEY CAN'T TURN AROUND AND  CLAIM AGAIN  THEIR SHARES IN THE PROPERTY BYPASSING FAMILY ARRANGMENT. THE WORDS OR PROMISE IN THEIR WRITTEN  AGREEMENT IS BINDING ON THEM and they  can't TURN THE CLOCK BACK.They can't sing  a different tune now.

Exact terms of the agreement as well the circumstances sorrounding its execution  needs to be referred. It is equally important whether the agreement is registered.
