Dear Sir,
1. I am defence pensioner retired from Army on 01 Oct 2000.
2. I receive my pension thru BANK OF INDIA, SP BR, 7th cross, Morar, Gwalior (MP) & BANK OF INDIA, CPPC, NAGPUR.
3. Now bank has informed me that Rs 9,60,947.00 has been paid excess in pension due to their internal mistake. The bank has also debited my A/C to the tune of Rs 208506/- arbitrarily in one go and informed me that they will recover 1/3 of my pension per month.
4. I am a senior citizen and patient. I am unable to maintain my day today and medical expenses in the meagre amount of pension.
5. Please advise me the legal course of action available to me as I am in no way at fault for the excess payment of pension.
