Typographical error on gender specification in register deed

Dear Sir,
My father purchased a land with my mother's name and registered with sub-registrar office. I found typographical error in registered deed, they represent relationship as a son in place of wife by mistake, What i need to do for correcting this mistake?
Please let me know right procedure.
