I need expert opinion on the Service Tax on property.
We are planning to build a project where there are 5 residential flats & 6 commercial shops.
My question is, are all the flat & shops comes under Service Tax? I heard from different people that project having 5 or less than 5 residential flats are not comes under Service Tax. Where are the rules & regulation mentioned for this?

Yes residential are comes under service tax but if you have commercial shops then it is bind to pay service tax like electricity and water supply...
