I would like to clarify on a land deal. My father has an independent house constructed in a land of 3825 Sq. ft in Coimbatore, under corporation area. This house and the land is completely built on his own income and now he is retired. He would like to divide this property into 4 equal shares, among we 3 heirs (1 married daughter and 2 Sons) and himself. We all 3 want to construct 4 flats, one each for us and 1 to our parents, through bank loan. Would like to know, how the land can be divided, legally, registered and what are all the documents a bank may require to avail loan to us. Pl. do let us know your advise. Thank you in advance.
