Sale deed having correct cheque number and bank, but amount specified is reduced.

Hi All!

Builder has deducted the amount for club house and put rest of the amount as paid via that cheque number. Though Cheque number and bank are correct is it ok to put a different amount ?. Please note I have already registered its in Karnataka. Is a rectification needed ?. Though I feel it should be fine and no need for a recitifcation. Still want to check with experts on the same..

Get clarification of the amount details from your builder.

Thanks for the response, they have said they have showed only charges for the plot and subtracted the maintanance cost. I think that should be fine rt ?.

Apparently builder is seller? Confirm! Has the builder provided any written explanation for arbitrarily changing the amount of encashed cheque? Has the buyer asked in writing?
