Hi,

Alumni of a technical institute was formed in 1994 in Gujarat while our parent institution is in Kanpur ( UP) which is a registred body bearing a different name than in Gujarat.

As we want to start a supporting acivity for our needy alumni (settled  in Gujarat ), our association has applied for its registration under societies act in Gujarat . Without registration it will not be possible to work on the projects through which we can help our needy members by training and offering employment .

We have followed all the necessary norms meant for registration of association under societies act in local charity's commissioner's office.

Please guide us as during final hearing the officer was confused whether the association can be registered in Gujarat or not.
