Question on contested case - civil

hello,
in case of a no show of a defendant and set exparte, is it true that the defendant can still show evidenve during the EX PARTE EVIDENCE stage? or what exactly is a EXPARTE EVIDENCE as show in status?
in other words ,does the defendant still gets the opporutnity to show evidence even after being set exparte.?
also,in case of 1 plaintf vs 2 defendants and both remain exparte after issue of summon and 1 filnig vakalat and no WS, can this case still be considered a FULLY CONTESTED case  . this is at a district court in bhopal

Please, post the material facts and the real issue than posting a riddle.

Vague query without relevant information.

When the defendant is declared ex-parte, s/he will have to get the order of ex-parte set aside/recalled before deposing in her/his evidence.
