Dear Sir/ Madam,
Can you please guide me regarding how to obtain a caste certificate in Chhattisgarh. I use to have one before Chhattisgarh state was made which is not valid now. I belong to Gond (S.T) category and was born in 1988 at Madhyapradesh. After my birth my parents shifted to Chhattisgarh and have been residing there ever since for more than 20 years now, I had my schooling from nursery to 12th std from Chhattisgarh. But now the state is asking for a 50 years record for getting caste certificate. I am currently preparing for central service exams which acknowledges my caste i.e (Gond) as ST at the central level but the state is not giving me caste certificate citing lack of 50 years record.What can i do?
