Private complaint us ipc 504, 506(1) and 506(2)

Two known people called me on phone and threatened to kill me n my family. I have phone recording.

I filed Police NC us IPC 504, 507.

Then filed private complaint in court.

Court has issued summons to those two accused. Both accused appeared in court and took bail.

I have following questions:

1. This trial should be summons case or Warrant case? Because max punishment for 506(2) is upto 7 years. But it is non cognizible in Maharashtra.

2.What I should do if accused dont come to court on any hearing date?

3. What I should do to put pressure on accused?

1. As per Section 2(w), "summons-case" means a case relating to an offence, and not being a warrant-case and as per Section 2 (x), "warrant-case" means a case relating to an offence punishable with death, imprisonment for life or imprisonment for a term exceeding two years.

2, 3. - No further action is required from your end. The court will decide how to proceed.

1. Punishment for IPC 506(2) is for upto 7 years. Then 506(2) trial should be Warrant case and not Summons Case. Right?

2.What I should do if accused dont come to court on any hearing date?

3. What I should do to put pressure on accused?
